3D Makeup Artist Ines Alpha Creates a Series of Primordial Videos for BIMBA Y LOLA
Featuring model Soraya as an ethereal being from a distant future.
A bona fide Instagram sensation for her mesmerizingly organic face filters, 3D makeup artist, Ines Alpha, has lent her imagination to Spanish label BIMBA Y LOLA‘s latest #thisisHUMAN collection. Set against a jagged, primeval coastline, BIMBA Y LOLA’s neon and metallic bags from its Fall/Winter 2019 collection are shown swathed across the lithe body of model and artist Soraya, as a benevolent airborne anointing her with a fluid mask by way of a kiss on the cheek.
To mark the occasion of the collaboration, as well as the opening of its online store in Singapore, BIMBA Y LOLA celebrated with a party at Singapore’s Aliwal Arts Centre on October 16. Ines Alpha conceptualized the event space to be an ode to future technology, with multiple screens showcasing the six campaign videos she created.
Guests were able to try out the BIMBA Y LOLA face filter Alpha designed for Instagram, with their tagged posts and stories shared with a dedicated social media screen. All the while, French producer and DJ, Panteros666 played a set mixing rave, house and sci-fi genres to keep the guests dancing throughout the night.
