Watch the First Official Trailer for 'Dora and the Lost City of Gold’

Your favorite explorer goes on the adventure of a lifetime.

Paramount Pictures has released the first official trailer for Dora and the Lost City of Gold, inspired by the popular animated series Dora the Explorer. The film features emerging actress Isabela Moner, Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, and Benicio Del Toro voicing the villainous thief, Swiper.

In the trailer we see Dora attending high school for the for the first time a swift change from her jungle upbringing. She later is thrown into the adventure of a lifetime along with her trusty monkey sidekick, Boots.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold will launch in cinemas on August 2. Watch the trailer above.
