Start Saving up for These 4 Designer Footwear Collaborations Launching in FW19

Including COMME des GARÇONS x Nike’s latest sneaker.

The Fall/Winter 2019 season is still a ways away, but there are a number of designer footwear collaborations that you can already look forward to — and get your coins ready for. From COMME des GARÇONS x Nike‘s latest sneaker silhouette, to a lineup of playful and girly heels from an unexpected partnership between Ashley Williams and Jimmy Choo, the recent Fashion Month saw a handful of head-turning shoes that are getting us excited for the later half of 2019.

As we wait to learn more about the release details and pricing of each collaboration, take a first glimpse at some of our favorite designs below.

COMME des GARÇONS x Nike

During her brand’s FW19 runway show, Rei Kawakubo has unveiled a first look at the next footwear collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS with Nike. This time around, the sneaker features velcro fastenings in lieu of a regular lacing system. From the leather upper to the sole unit, the low-top runner is covered in tonal black. In addition to Nike’s Swoosh logo on the lateral, the shoe is designed with on-trend sneaker jewelry coming in the form of CdG’s spelled-out logo.

Eckhaus Latta x UGG

Thanks to a number of headline-worthy collaborations that released last year, UGGs have made a stylish comeback in the fashion world. During New York Fashion Week, emerging American label Eckhaus Latta has debuted a line of elevated, cozy footwear created in partnership with UGG. Besides a reinterpretation of the brand’s familiar boot silhouette, the collaborative styles also include fuzzy clogs, slip-on slides, as well as opened-toe mules with chunky heels.

Ashley Williams x Jimmy Choo

100-percent party-ready heels are what you get when you marry the fun-loving aesthetic of Ashley Williams with the classic, feminine footwear styles of Jimmy Choo. For FW19, the two brands have come together to dream up a line of whimsical designs that range from bejeweled, strappy sandals to oversized bow-adorned pumps. Check out our backstage coverage of the London Fashion Week show for a sneak peek at the collection.

Halpern x Christian Louboutin

Another noteworthy footwear collaboration announced during London Fashion Week FW19 came from London-based designer Michael Halpern and iconic, luxury footwear brand Christian Louboutin. Marking the fourth collaborative range between the two, the new collection sees custom Louboutin platform sandals that are designed with a vibrant, eye-catching color palette and statement-making graphic prints. Christian Louboutin’s signature red soles can be seen throughout the range, of course.
