'Game of Thrones' Final Season Trailer Is Here, Teasing the Last Showdown

Season 8 is coming.

After months of teasers and clips, HBO’s highly anticipated official trailer for season eight of Game of Thrones has dropped. According to Entertainment Weekly, the video shares an initial look at the show’s largest fight which is set to last an entire episode. The final battle is also expected to be the longest-ever action sequence to ever be released in “cinema history.”

It’s no secret that superfans have been waiting just about two years for a look at the final season of the drama series. Familiar faces, who appeared in the clip included Arya running through Winterfell, Cersei at the Red Keep, and of course, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.

Game of Thrones will return on April 14. Watch the season 8 trailer in the gallery above.
