The Gotham Television Awards have become something of the cooler, younger sister of American award shows. Monday night marked just the third-ever edition of the television-focused sister celebration to the winter’s Gotham Film Awards, but this didn’t mean the list of famous faces was any less. Taking place in New York, the lineup of guests in attendance included Odessa A’zion, Michelle Pfeiffer and Chase Infiniti, amongst many others.
The awards spotlighted breakthrough series, exceptional performances and stars who continue to grace our screens, pushing the medium forward. Michelle Pfeiffer was one such star, being nominated for the Legend Tribute. The Duffer Brothers also received the Visionary Tribute for Stranger Things, while newer shows received attention, including I Love LA, which was nominated three times and won Breakthrough Comedy Series.
