Chanel Beauty's LES BEIGES 2019 Collection Is Created to Mimic Nude, Glowing Skin

Featuring a newly designed WATER-FRESH TINT.

Chanel Beauty returns to unveil another LES BEIGES makeup collection. Inspired by the effects of open air on the skin, the line was revamped last March and was debuted at the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2018 presentation. The mostly nude color palette is created to imitate every nuance of nude skin.

For the first time ever, Chanel Beauty utilizes microfluidic technology already used in skincare and fragrance to create a stunning nude skin effect in a WATER-FRESH TINT. Additional products in the lineup include a HEALTHY GLOW SHEER POWDER, an EYESHADOW PALETTE and a HEALTHY GLOW LIP BALM.

Chanel’s Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica shares details on the WATER-FRESH TINT in an official statement:

“LES BEIGES Water-Fresh Tint is a new makeup product that enhances women’s natural beauty. It is worn like a subtle and undetectable second skin.”

The new WATER-FRESH TINT features a jellified texture and offers the skin a high percentage of water for an intense and immediate sensation of freshness. Once applied the skin is left feeling luminous and evened out with a sheer finish. The product is created to be applied with a small ergonomic brush that blends perfectly with the ingredients. Available shades include “Light,” “Medium Light,” “Medium,” “Medium Plus,” “Light Deep” and “Deep.”

Up next is the HEALTHY GLOW SHEER POWDER, a cult product created to be worn year-round. Once applied it gives off an essential healthy glow and a sensation of oxygen on the skin. This time around, the powder comes in limited-edition packaging and is formulated without SPF. It is available in seven shades: “N°10,” “N°20,” “N°30,” “N°40,” “N°50,” “N°60” and “N°70.”

Pica also debuts a newly designed EYESHADOW PALETTE which heightens the beauty of natural skin. Each of the nine natural eyeshadows are similar to the tones of the outdoors. The hues include airy beige, rosy beige, raw cocoa, bare skin, moonlight, matte khaki, hot chocolate, mineral bronze and sienna. Each color is compatible with all skin tones. Lastly, the line’s HEALTHY GLOW LIP BALM arrives as a brick red inspired by clay courts. This balm is creamy and features a melt-away texture constructed of vitamin E derivatives and moringa butter.

Chanel’s LES BEIGES 2019 collection will be available on May 3 at all CHANEL Beauty counters and at chanel.com.
