Bottega Veneta's Oversized Arco Bag Is the Statement Accessory We Didn't Know We Needed
An antidote to the mini-bag trend.
Having recently launched the Maxi Cabat and the minimalist-chic clutch, the Pouch, Bottega Veneta now officially introduces another new style, the Arco, to its luxury handbag line.
As part of brand’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, the Arco is available in a range of natural leather colors as well as four different sizes, including the extra-large the Arco 75, the office-appropriate, roomy the Arco 56, a smaller version called the Arco 48, as well as the most compact option, the Arco 33.
Named after Milan’s iconic monument Arco della Pace, which served as a picturesque backdrop for Daniel Lee‘s debut Bottega Veneta runway show, the top handle bag reimagines the intrecciato and is created with a deconstructed, modern-looking weave. For those who gravitate towards clean designs, the handbag is also available in a non-woven version. Complementing the long, curved handles is a dome-shaped flap, while on the inside of each bag, you’ll find two open pockets and one zippered compartment.
From the creamy white “Bianco” to the neutral brown “Wood,” scroll through the gallery below to see select styles from the Arco range.
Currently, the Arco 56, the Arco 48 and the Arco 33 are available for pre-order at Bottega Veneta’s website and in-stores at the Italian brand’s Milan locations. Pricing ranges from $2,490 USD to $4,900 USD.
The rest of Bottega Veneta’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection is expected to hit shelves in late May.
