Nike Debuts Its Most Sophisticated Running Sneaker Yet

Take a closer look at the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%.

Nike has updated the name and construction of its marathon-ready Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%. The new ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% was tested by world-class runner who gave feedback on how the sneaker could be improved. Elite distance athletes like Eliud Kipchoge and Mo Farah have been working with Nike to push the limits of human physicality attacking a sub-two hour marathon. Some technical upgrades of the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% include a new Vaporweave upper, offset laces to relieve foot pressure and custom traction patterns to improve forefoot grip.

Runners will be able to pick up a pair of the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% on April 25 in London. It will be available in China this summer. Take a look at the shoe in motion below.
