I’m proud to say that I can make it through most mornings without coffee. I’m groggy like everyone else but I use tea to perk up and face the work day. Like clockwork, around 2 p.m. my focus starts to fade and lunch doesn’t make things any easier. I usually resort to mindless social media scrolling which can go on for longer than expected. I was able to break the cycle of my midday energy drop with the help of Sakara‘s Nootropic chocolates. These dark chocolate bits pack are packed with ingredients that are meant to boost brain function and induce a calm concentration. Each piece is just 11 calories so ladies can maintain their diets and snack guilt-free.

Read on to learn more about this week’s Editor’s Pick.

NOOTROPIC CHOCOLATES

WHAT IS IT: Sakara’s Superfood Nootropic Chocolates

WHY IT’S WORTH THE HYPE: I succumbed to the temptation of drinking an energy drink way too many times this winter. Instantly my sugar spiked and I was completely wired for an hour without getting much work done most times. Sakara’s Nootropic chocolates provide the exact opposite effect. Thirty minutes before my usual energy fade I eat one or two chocolates and wash it down with water. The taste can be a bit jarring for those that don’t like dark chocolate but I actually prefer it. I continue to work and after a while I begin to settle into a rhythm. The Nootropic chocolates include ingredients like green tea extract, lion’s mane and adaptogens that are meant to boost cognition and regulate stress. Focusing on tasks becomes way easier and I’m less inclined to think about the difficulty of the work. For those who wish want to keep their flow going throughout the day I definitely recommend giving this superfood a try.

WHERE YOU CAN FIND IT: Sakara’s Nootropic Chocolates are currently available online for $45 USD.
