An Official Look at the Upcoming Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5

Peep the upcoming Nike c/o Virgil Abloh “Athlete in Progress” campaign.

Following a handful of teasers spanning over the past few months, Nike is finally giving us an official look at its upcoming collaboration with Off-White™ and Virgil Abloh. This time around, the two collaborators are launching three iterations of the Zoom Terra Kiger 5.

Arriving as a part of the Nike c/o Virgil Abloh “Athlete in Progress” collection, saluting the “unbreakable confidence held by runners.” For the collection, Abloh has tapped into Nike’s ever-growing heritage in track and field, balancing performance product with post-run apparel and footwear in an effort to break boundaries. “I started talking with Nike about this women’s running project last summer and at the time, I was very much inspired by the aesthetic and style of track and field athletes. As a result, I invited some of Nike’s elite track and field champions to participate in my SS19 Off-White runway show as the natural forerunner to developing and showcasing the collection,” said the designer about the collaboration, referencing the collection that debuted at his show in Paris last September.

For the campaign, Nike and Virgil Abloh has tapped 800-meter champion Caster Semenya to reveal the new shoe. The full Nike c/o Virgil Abloh collection is slated to release globally on June 27. Take a look a the three coloways of the new sneakers above.
