Dior Reopens Baby Dior Ateliers For Production of Face Masks
Another luxury brand to join the fight against COVID-19.
To aid efforts against the novel coronavirus, Dior is dedicating its Baby Dior ateliers in Redon, France to the production of face masks. Workers are volunteering their time and skills to the continuous production of new masks to help ameliorate the shortage of protective gear for medical workers. “Dior is actively committed to aiding and protecting all those who are on the front line every day,” a statement from the company reads. “Thank you to our wonderful petites mains [small hands] who, in an exceptional show of solidarity, are working tirelessly to protect them.”
In related news, PVH Corp. has donated approximately two million units of personal protective equipment including masks and face shields to the Montefiore Health System in New York.
