An Official Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One
Unveiled in a campaign shot on the streets and basketball courts of NYC.
COMME des GARÇONS and Nike have finally unveiled their Air Foamposite One silhouette, which was first seen on the runway earlier this year during COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus’ Fall/Winter 2021 show in Tokyo.
Arriving in black and white, the sneaker features its original exterior shell redesigned with a three-dimensional ripple pattern reminiscent of a Japanese zen garden. Both styles come with a tonal lacing system, contrast detailing and a small Swoosh on the forefoot. The CdG Homme Plus embossed branding on the heel round off the kicks.
In celebration of the duo’s collaborative silhouette, CdG tapped Brooklyn-based photographer Anthony Geathers to shoot a campaign spotlighting the Air Foamposite One on the streets and community basketball courts of the Big Apple. Take a closer look at the visuals above.
The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One will drop on November 5 at all CdG and Dover Street Market stores worldwide.
