Kristen Stewart Announces Engagement With Screenwriter Dylan Meyer
“We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
After two years of dating, Kristen Stewart is officially engaged to screenwriter Dylan Meyer.
The Spencer actor confirmed the news in an interview with Howard Stern on November 2. “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart announced on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
Specific details of the wedding have yet to be planned out, however, Stewart shared where she wants it to happen. “I want to stay home. I want to be in LA so everyone can come and … I want it to be pretty chill,” she said. “I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. Like, we’re just gonna stand, do vows.”
Stewart and Meyer met in 2013 but reconnected a few years later at a party. In a previous interview with Stern, Stewart candidly spoke about her partner saying, “When you know, you know. You know what I mean?” She added: “There is nothing like feeling sure about anything, because we don’t know anything. And that is the only thing you can feel like you know, is that if you’re in love with someone.”
