A sacai x Nike Cortez Might Be On the Way

According to rumors.

2022 is slated to be the year of the Nike Cortez. The model will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a stacked calendar of releases honoring the silhouette’s rich history. Joining the forthcoming UNION LOS ANGELES collaboration is a rumored partnership with Chitose Abe’s label sacai.

While no official details have been released, we can expect the sacai x Nike Cortez to feature the brand’s signature stacked aesthetic with double Swooshes, soles and tongues.

The Cortez has seen many iterations since its 1972 release. Notable collaborations include the COMME des GARÇONS platform and Kendrick Lamar’s house shoe-inspired slip-on. Stay tuned for more Cortez models set to release in 2022.
