Cozy Up Your Space With Massproductions' Furry Armchairs

Swedish home label Massproductions is back with another photo-ready furniture design. This time around, the brand’s original Crown Armchair is reworked with the furry Argo fabric, which was designed by Raf Simons for textile producer Kvadrat. Woven from the hairs of the Angora goat, the armchair is complete with a lustrous, silky finish in white, yellow, pink and blue color options.

The label decided to update its collection with the cozy material thanks to Gustaf Westman, a renowned architect and designer who first came up with the idea for his new headquarters in Stockholm. Massproductions’s CEO Magnus Elebäck shared in a press release: “Some time ago, Gustav came to us with a quirky request. He wanted the Crown Chairs for his new office to be upholstered in a furry Raf Simons fabric. When we saw the result, we couldn’t help falling in love with it.” Westman added: “The way I’ve seen the chair before is in a more strict way; I thought it was fun to play with the shape and add a more organic and lively fabric… In my opinion, it gave even more versatility to the chair.”

Take a closer look at the designs above. You can head to the Massproductions website to shop the Crown Easy Chair “The Furry Edition” with prices starting at €2,558 EUR (approximately $3,025 USD).
