Nike Celebrates Día de los Muertos With a Women's Air Max 1
Sporting the perfect shade of orange.
Nike expands its “Somos Familia” with a Día de los Muertos collection that includes four of their most beloved silhouettes. Alongside a black-soled Air Force 1, tan Air Jordan 1 and graphic Dunk High, the drop includes a women’s exclusive Air Max 1 silhouette.
The striking colorway combines vibrant orange shades to contrast a woven beige base. The model does not want for details, with topstitching adding a handmade feel to the sneaker and embossed details decorating the mudguard. Green upper eyelets add a splash of color up top while a semi-translucent gum sole adds interest underfoot. Other design details include a butterfly graphic embroidered at the heel that carries onto the insole and special edition packaging.
