Ancuta Sarca and Browns Link for Nike Heel Collaboration

Featuring one-of-a-kind upcylced creations.

Designer Ancuta Sarca took to Instagram to announce an exclusive collaboration with London-based luxury department store Browns. For eight months Ancuta sourced 100 pairs of unwanted Nike trainers, upcycling them into Y2K-inspired sneaker heels.

Inspired by Formula 1 cars, the product range includes mule, slingback and kitten heel styles blending Nike uppers with patent leather elements. Each pair is one-of-a-kind with prices ranging from $680 USD to $769 USD.

The Ancuta Sarca x Browns Nike capsule is shoppable now via Browns locations with a small selection available online.

In other footwear news, Beyonce’s Ivy Park and adidas release a new take on the Super Sleek platform featuring this season’s most popular shade of green.
