Sydney Sweeney Is Being Sued by a Swimwear Brand
LA Collective is demanding the ‘Euphoria’ star cover the damages for backing out of a brand contract.
Sydney Sweeney is being sued by a swimwear brand for reportedly backing out of a deal to promote its products.
According to Page Six, LA Collective has filed a lawsuit after the Euphoria star broke a contract to promote the label’s Somewhere Swimwear line. As written in official documents, the company is claiming that Sweeney “[canceled] the agreement without any explanation or cause” after approving its designs, and also “appropriated the designs … for her own use,” wearing them “on at least five episodes” of the HBO series.
TMZ reports that LA Collective was projected to sell over $3 million USD worth of swimsuits with the deal and is now demanding Sweeney to cover the damages.
Sweeney’s team has yet to comment on the issue. Stay tuned for more information.
