Here's Your First Look at 'Hocus Pocus 2'
The Sanderson sisters are resurrected once again.
The official teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 has been released, marking the return of the Sanderson sisters.
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Doug Jones are reprising their roles from the 1993 film. Though it’s been 19 years since the original movie premiered, the sequel’s storyline actually takes place nearly 30 years later.
The synopsis reads as follows: “It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”
“Lock up your children,” Midler’s character, Winifred, shouts in the teaser clip. “Yes, Salem — we’re back!”
Hocus Pocus 2 is slated to release on Disney+ on September 30. Watch the official teaser trailer above.
