Dan Levy Joins the Cast of Netflix's 'Sex Education'

A match made in TV heaven.

Schitt’s Creek star and Emmy Award-winner Dan Levy has just been announced to join the cast of Netflix’s Sex Education series.

Netflix announced the news on Twitter, saying that “Sex Education Season 4 is now in production — and Dan Levy has joined the cast as Mr. Molloy!” alongside images of the actor dressed in character as a new teacher. According to Netflix, Levy will play Maeve Wiley’s college tutor in the US, as she attends an Ivy League college.

Joining Levy for season four is Doctor Who’s Thaddea Graham, alongside Marie Reuther (Kamikaze) and newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, Reda Elazouar, Bella Maclean and Imani Yahshua. The returning cast includes the likes of Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood and Emma Mackey, alongside Mimi Keen and Dua Saleh.

According to season four’s synopsis, the new series will focus on Otis and Eric’s journey to a progressive new sixth-form college, alongside Jackson’s heartbreak and Adam’s struggles with the concept of mainstream education. Elsewhere, the series is set to follow Maeve, “living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy.”

Stay tuned for more details on Sex Education season four.
