What Went Down at the Crocs X Susan Alexandra Collaboration Launch

As part of Hypebae’s ongoing 10th-anniversary celebrations, we took over the Crocs store in SoHo, New York, for the ultimate creative experience. Teaming up with NYC’s queen of whimsical fashion, Susan Alexandra, we gathered close friends for an intimate, DIY-fueled customization workshop.
The store was completely reimagined to match both of their signature candy-colored, joyful aesthetics. Tablescapes were flooded with bright, whimsical floral decor inspired by Alexandra’s latest Crocs collaboration themes, instantly turning the retail space into an ethereal garden paradise. Guests sipped on drinks with custom flavor profiles matching the collection’s standout motifs: “Under the Sea,” “Beach Day” and “The Great Outdoors.”
Midway through the evening, Alexandra and her design team took center stage to lead an exclusive masterclass on personalizing the classic footwear brand’s latest accessories. Taking us behind her creative process, Alexandra demonstrated how she approaches making the line her own, transforming a classic Crocs bag into a one-of-a-kind statement piece. Armed with insider tips, tricks and a step-by-step tutorial, attendees spent the rest of the night piling on playful, expressive charms and embellishments to create their own custom masterpieces.
