Stuart Weitzman Launches Limited-Edition Collection With Disney
The footwear brand gets whimsical for Fall 2022.
Footwear brand Stuart Weitzman has just released a collaboration with Disney, unveiling a collection of limited-edition shoes for the Fall 2022 season. The special line marks the first global collaboration for the iconic brand.
“I was so inspired by the idea of combining icons. We wanted to take some of our most iconic styles with inspiration from Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, and make them sparkle like Disney’s most classic stars, ” says Edmundo Castillo, Stuart Weitzman’s Head of Design.
Each look is crafted to make the wearer feel as special as they would when they’re in the happiest place on Earth. The elegant designs marry Disney’s kitschy and sweet nature with the timeless footwear brand’s refined sensibilities. Sleek lace up boots are covered in sparkling Swarvoski crystal motifs in the shape of Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse silhouettes, while crisp white sneakers boast a colorful illustration of the entire gang, while knee-high boots offer a quirky dose of glamor for colder days. Elsewhere, shimmering loafers are sure to dazzle on the first day of school, whereas feminine sandals offer a simple and romantic accessory as the heels are adorned with an adorable Swarvoski mouse on the back.
