Machine Gun Kelly Taps Surfing Champion Kelia Moniz for UN/DN LAQR Collaboration

Machine Gun Kelly continues to expand his nail empire UN/DN LAQR with a new collaboration with surfing champion Kelia Moniz.
Dubbed the “Sundazed” collection, the range takes inspiration from waves and “taking the ride.” “Pick Me” is a nude pink hue, while “The Fun One” can be additionally applied for an iridescent finish. The Hawaiian native shared exclusively with Hypebae, “Creating is at the heart of UN/DN — and this collaboration presented me with an opportunity to showcase my creative side in a totally new way with a collection of nail polishes that I would use every day to create my signature ‘Sundazed’ manicure.” She continued, “I loved having control of the creative process when creating this collection with UN/DN. I was really able to create something that felt special and truly mine.”
“As a surfer, I am constantly surrounded by, and inspired by the beauty of nature,” Moniz further shared. “The sights, sounds and smells of the ocean feel like home to me and I wanted to create a collection that was my interpretation of this natural beauty. Soft pink is my go-to nail shade, and I wanted to create a shade that embodied the environment I am lucky to see every day.”
