For the 2023 Critics Choice Awards, celebrity manicurist @nailsbydiem took to Instagram to give us the tea on Washington’s nails — and we were too stunned to speak. The actor was sculpted a 3D water droplet set that looked stunningly realistic.

In the post, Diem broke down how the moment was brought to life for those wishing to emulate and make them look over on themselves at home. Diem used Candy Coat‘s “Natural AU015” shade as the pinky base and a “favorite unicorn chrome.” I didn’t know I needed a unicorn chrome until now, and it all makes sense. For the bubbles, the manicurist opted for Candy Coat’s Build-a-Nail in “Crystal Clear” and topped it off with a shiny, no-wipe top coat to seal the look in.
