GANNI and 66 NORTH Reunite for the Fall Winter Season

Once again drawing inspiration from the vast landscapes of Iceland.

GANNI and 66°NORTH are once again teaming up for another collection inspired by Icelandic heritage and the great outdoors. An extension of their long-standing relationship (which kicked off back in 2019,) the new 14-piece collection was first teased on the runway during GANNI’s Fall/Winter 2023 showcase at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

“I can’t believe it’s our fourth collaboration, we’re just so aligned as people and as brands. We share the same sense of pride in where we come from and for this collection, I wanted to go back to our roots and revisit some of those iconic pieces that really make us who we are. This season I have been reflecting on our journey and I love how those introspective elements come across in the collection while still being fun and new,” explains GANNI creative director, Ditte Reffstrup.

Designed for life on the go, the collection aims to support its wearer through temperamental weather conditions and ever-changing environments, fusing practicality with playfulness. Featuring lightweight, breathable and waterproof Gore-Tex materials, the collection includes Bluesign and Oeko-Tex certified fabrics, alongside Seaqual — which uses 95% recycled polyester made from plastic litter from the ocean.

As always, Iceland serves as the inspiration for the collection’s design, color palette and shapes, taking influence from the country’s vast landscapes and topography. Elsewhere, FW23 features the new-and-improved Kria Jacket, alongside cargo skirts, color-blocked bombers and vests.

“Our first collaboration with GANNI was launched in 2019 and with FW23 we are launching our fourth. The journey with GANNI ‘s team has been fun, creative and opens up something new each time. Creating a fun and creative space, full of learning is one of the key goals with collabs, in my opinion. And it’s inspiring to see both brands bring their unique DNA to the table. I am thrilled about the outcome and I hope you like it as much as I do,” adds Bjarney Harðardóttir, CEO, 66°NORTH.

Take a look at the new collaboration above, now available for purchase from GANNI and 66°NORTH stores.
