Take an Official Look at the New JJJJound x adidas Samba

Arriving in three colorways.

JJJJound is continuing to partner with footwear giants, with most recent releases including the New Balance 990v3 and 991. For its newest collaboration, the Montréal-based studio has joined forces with adidas on one of the sportswear brand’s hottest silhouettes of the year — the Samba.

The Samba has become a highly coveted sneaker over the past few years, with Lyst naming it 2023’s shoe of the year and adidas building on the hype by releasing collabs with Pharrell Williams on a Humanrace-branded iteration, in addition to drops with names like Grace Wales Bonner.

First teased in November 2022 in two colorways, the new silhouette has just been unveiled in an official “Off-White/Core Black/Gum” colorway. Almost identical to the OG adidas silhouette, the JJJJound iteration boasts subtle details like an eggshell-toned leather upper, gold-tone on the leather collar lining and “JJJJound” branding in place of the typical gold foil adidas text.

Take a first look at the first official in the gallery above, slated for release in March 2024, at a price of $250 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, adidas has designed a new version of the Forum Low inspired by the Grinch while the Pharrell Williams x adidas Hu NMD has returned in “Grey.”
