Iconic footwear brand Dr. Martens is trading in its punk-rock exterior for a more playful aesthetic as the British label is releasing a collaborative collection with BTS‘ bt21.
The creative brainchild of the K-pop group and Line Friends, bt21’s beloved characters bring the vibrant energy to the range in the form of decorative illustrations across treasured silhouettes. The collection is comprised of the tried and true the 1460 boot, the timeless 2976 Chelsea boot and the classic Box backpack — the perfect carryall. Colorful hand-drawn style images of KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, TATA and COOKY infuse the footwear with their whimsical energy as the shoes are crafted with a special mix of classic black Smooth leather, as well as a purple-tinted Arcadia version — a material that transforms into an even deeper purple hue, getting better with every wear.
