Sea New York Pre-Fall 2023 Balances the Old With the New

You might want to make space in your closet.

Dresses are the go-to silhouette for Sea New York‘s Pre-Fall 2023 collection as the brand reimagines the feminine shape in a myriad of colors and textures.

The label’s latest assortment balances a timeless sensibility with the introduction of edgier fabrics like leather and shredded denim. A demure grandma-core aesthetic takes shape in the form of a clavicle-baring off-the-shoulder dress, decorated with dainty flowers. Joining it is a kelly green quilted chinoiserie jacket gingerly tied at the neck. The recurring verdant floral print makes another appearance on an intriguing one-shoulder frock, delivering a statement-making puffed sleeve. Alongside it, an enzyme-washed smocked option offers a feminine sense of whimsy with its frothy neckline.

Elsewhere, a dramatic white tassel outfit is not for the faint of heart as ribbons of ivory fabric flow from its asymmetrical skirt. Night gowns see the light of day as cap-sleeved eyelet dresses juxtapose crotchet keyhole ensembles.

Take a look a Sea New York’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection in the gallery above, which will be available for purchase on the brand’s website in May.
