Karol G has made Spotify history thanks to her new album, Mañana Será Bonito. She has scored the biggest debut for a Spanish-language album by a female artist.
Additionally, the Colombian singer’s LP became the first album by a Latina artist to reach No. 1 in US Apple Music history.
Mañana Será Bonito is a positive album about love, heartbreak and good vibes. “This definitely represents a specific phase of my life,” she explained to Rolling Stone about the album’s theme. “The name of the album is a phrase I kept repeating to myself when nothing felt great. I mean, I was going through the best moment of my career, but personally I was really disconnected from myself and from my friends. I wasn’t unhappy, but I wasn’t happy either. So every day I’d say to myself, ‘It’s okay, mañana será bonito — tomorrow will be beautiful.’”
