Pharrell Williams' x adidas Originals Debut Humanrace Samba Colors Collection

Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals are joining forces once again, for what promises to be the duo’s “most elevated footwear collection to date.”
Dubbed “Humanrace Samba Colors by Pharrell,” the new offering joins an impressive roster of Pharrell x adidas silhouettes, including the Superstar, NMD and initial Humanrace Samba which was released last year. Now, the partnership has evolved to include a vibrant array of colorways, building on the brand’s ever-popular Samba silhouette.
“We’re instilling high-quality materials and craftsmanship back into footwear,” confirms Williams in a press release. A true appreciation for color, the collection boasts an elevated take on the classic silhouette, crafted in all-around, high-end leather uppers, leather lining and leather shoelaces. In partnership with ECCO Leather, the shoe utilizes the brand’s water-saving tanning technology, saving up to 20 liters of water per hide.
Elsewhere, the sneaker features an extended tongue, in a bid to represent the silhouette’s rich heritage in sport and football. Landing in a vibrant, monochromatic color palette, the seasonal release boasts hues of yellow, orange, pink, lilac, red and a friends and family exclusive in “Humanrace Green.” Alongside the six colorways releasing next month, the accompanying campaign images preview three additional hues of “Charcoal,” “White” and “Terracotta” due to be released at a later date.
