Ruslan Baginskiy Raises Temperatures With Seasonal Hand-Dyed Baseball Caps

A color for everyday.

Following his Après-ski collection, which unveiled cozy headwear that made us excited about the cold weather, Ruslan Baginskiy now reveals a seasonal assortment of hand-dyed baseball caps that add color to everyday life.

Inspired by the energizing hues of summertime, the offering arrives in colorways: “May Green,” “Hopeful Blue,” “Adventure Orange,” “Brave Yellow,” “Fragile Pink,” “Balmy Coral” and “Energetic White.” Structure-wise, the seven caps deliver a slightly frayed edge, as if the sun had burnt out them, along with an array of hand-crafted details, such as the signature hand-embroidered RB monogram.

With the release, the label wants to portray the spirit of an easygoing summer. Baginskiy explains in the collection notes: “We all wait for spring and summer. The return of color. The return of the sun. We follow it, wherever it brings us. It’s a time of free movement and decisions. Somehow, a road back to childhood, where we find the time to observe and explore.”

Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, the designer has notoriously kept all its production in the city of Lviv, a symbol of resistance and continuity amidst adversity. Baginskiy shared in a press release: “I wanted to add color to this collection, the way spring and summer bring color back into our lives. We all feel this powerful shift in mood, in the way we behave and I wanted it to reflect in the things I am making. The vital optimism that the sun brings in the darkest of times.”

Priced at $190 USD, Ruslan Baginskiy’s hand-embroidered baseball caps are now available to purchase online.
