LSU Forward Angel Reese Scores First Beauty Deal With Mielle Organics
Joining Megan Thee Stallion and Saweetie as the newest face.
Angel Reese inks her first beauty deal with haircare brand Mielle Organics.
The Louisiana State University athlete will be the gave of the haircare brand online and at in-person events and will also curate a limited-edition bundle of her favorite Mielle Organics products that will retail later this summer. “We selected Angel as a brand ambassador because our goal is to bridge the gap between sports and the beauty space,” Founder and CEO of Mielle, Monique Rodriguez, said in a press release. “The confidence, boldness, and resilience she embodies on and off the court are some of the qualities we look for when we choose brand ambassadors — she’s inspirational.”
Mielle Organics tapping Reese as an ambassador will be the start of many beauty brands pulling rising collegiate athletes in hopes of garnering brand awareness and resonating with younger consumers.
Reese joins a lineup of other notable ambassadors for the recent P&G acquired brand, such as Megan The Stallion and Saweetie.
