Mattel Turned Angel Reese Into a Real-Life Bayou Barbie

Launching alongside a Barbie-themed Reebok Angel Reese 1.

Angel Reese continues to cement her status as a cultural powerhouse on and off the court, and now the Bayou Barbie is being immortalized in her truest form. Mattel and Reebok have officially joined forces to celebrate the WNBA star with a dual release: a special-edition Angel Reese Barbie doll and a matching Barbie-themed iteration of her signature sneaker, the Reebok Angel Reese 1.

Known for redefining the intersection of sports and unapologetic glam, Reese’s custom doll captures her signature hardwood baddie energy. Built on Barbie’s “Made to Move” silhouette, the doll comes outfitted in full game-day style, complete with a mini pair of the new Barbie x Reebok Angel Reese 1s.

The sneaker delivers a bold fusion of technical innovation and playful flair. Featuring a crisp chalk base encased in an off-white TPU overlay, the shoe pops on and off the court with vibrant Barbie pink along the mesh backing, laces, heel bumper and inner lining. Subtle yellow eyelet accents pay tribute to Mattel’s iconic branding, while dual-branded logos adorn the tongue and sockliners.

The Barbie x Reebok Angel Reese 1 will be available to purchase starting August 2 on the Reebok website and select retailers.

In other news, Jordan Brand dropped Napheesa Collier’s first signature shoe.
