Putting her coins where her skin is.

Multi-hyphenate mogul Oprah Winfrey has opened up her billionaire purse and invested in Dr. Barbara Sturm‘s cult-loved skincare and wellness brand.

In a recent interview with Winfrey, she revealed that she invested an undisclosed amount into the science-based skincare line. Sturm, an aesthetics doctor with a focus and deep training in sports medicine, launched her eponymous brand with Net-a-Porter in 2014. In the interview, Winfrey revealed that designer Stella McCartney introduced her to the brand “that quickly blossomed into a global empire,” Leaving the media star with no choice but for her to call Sturm directly with an investment offer.

As reported by WWD, Sturm shared: “Oprah loving the products and coming into our business is a big honor and testament to the brand and our anti-inflammatory, skin barrier-strengthening philosophy. It also gives us access to a wider audience to bring free science-backed skin education to everyone.”

Oprah is indeed a smart woman and knows to put her money where her skin is.
