Erykah Badu x Marni Create A Soulful Collaboration

The Queen of Soul, Erykah Badu, is bringing her funky flow to fashion as the Grammy award-winning musician is creating sweet, sartorial harmony with Marni.
The “On & On” singer teased the collaboration earlier this week, wearing an all-white beaded dress by the Milanese brand to the 2023 Met Gala. For its Fall/Winter 2023 collection, Badu infuses the carefully constructed garments with her eclectic sensibility, delivering spirited women’s ready-to-wear clothing, as well as statement-making accessories and footwear. The line plays with colors and textures, offering multicolored sequin jacket that takes center stage, while two-toned oversized blazers and bold knit capes mingle alongside eye-catching metallic leather thigh-high boots and statuesque hats and psychedelic headscarves.
Starting today, the Marni x Erykah Badu limited-edition capsule has been introduced in select Marni boutiques in the U.S. The collection will also make its way to European locations and other retailers soon. Take a peek at the offering in the gallery above.
