There’s been a lot of talk about the 2023 Bet Awards that happened in Los Angeles on June 25th, and while there were definitely some heavy opinions floating around, there were also a ton of standout moments that have people buzzing. One of the night’s highlights was definitely Ice Spice‘s incredible transformation into a total “buss down” baddie, complete with her stunning XXL ginger tresses.

Trading in her trademark ‘fro for glamorous inches, The Bronx rapper took to the red carpet looking absolutely stunning in an all-black, mermaid-style dress that perfectly complemented her long and glamorous wig. The wig was bone-straight and fell all the way down to the top of her butt and I couldn’t help but wonder how long it was — it looked like it must have been close to 40 inches. To achieve the “buss down” effect, her stylist Kadijah Blade used Dyson’s Airstrait tool to carefully ensure a lot of care was in making sure that every strand was in place.

Spice looked extremely captivating on the carpet with her festive shade of orange hair. Her stylist knew how to make her look her best by opting for the classic middle part and light baby hair swoops cultivated with Got2B’s Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel. Her makeup artist, Karina Milan, kept her beat neutral with an understated cat eye and a wash of shimmer on the cheeks, topped with a flesh-toned gloss. It all came together seamlessly, making Spice look effortlessly beautiful.

Ice Spice really “spiced” out for this moment. Take a closer look ahead.
