Nike's Air Max 1 Goes Full Barbiecore
With a new “Fuschia Dream” colorway.
Nike is back with another striking Air Max 1 silhouette, this time landing in a fully-fledged, Barbiecore colorway.
Dubbed “Fuschia Dream” the new iteration follows a long line of summer-ready color palettes, like “Clear Jade” and “Tan Lines”, with this season’s hue being a vibrant pink — seemingly arriving at the perfect time considering the Barbie film is due to hit theatres next month.
Mimicking the classic silhouette’s typical construction, the new sneaker boasts its signature color-blocking formation, crafted with a white base and grey overlays. Vibrant “Fuschia” accents adorn the shoe’s Swooshes, upper eyelets, branding, mudguards and the front of its rubber sole, rounded out by a white midsole and black rubber outsole.
