Dua Lipa Made Me Fall in Love With the French Manicure Again With Her Barbie-Inspired Spin
There’s nothing cheesy about this.
To be completely honest, I’ve never really been into the classic French manicure. It just reminds me of a time from the ’90s and early ’00s that I’d rather not think about. But after seeing Dua Lipa‘s take on the trend at the UK premiere of the Barbie movie, I have to admit, she changed my POV on it all.
The star arrived at the Barbie premiere in London with a snatched, sleek, high ponytail with glowy yet understated makeup. She wore an eye-catching multi-colored dress that was complemented by an elaborate Versace choker. But what really gagged us were her nails – Lipa was fully committed to giving us a true “Barbie” girl. The French manicure, done by celebrity manicurist Kim Truong, was curated with the traditional white tip, but the nail beds were painted a perfect shade of opaque pink. Simply stunning.
