Viktor&Rolf Celebrates 30 Years of Provocative Glamour With Superga Collaboration
Superga’s signature styles receive the Viktor&Rolf’s couture flower and signature bow treatment.
In celebration of Viktor&Rolf’s 30th anniversary, Superga and Viktor&Rolf to release a limited edition capsule collection inspired by the fashion house’s iconic motifs—the couture flower and the signature bow. The collection features two styles: the Superga 2790 platform sneaker and the 2708 high-top sneaker.
The Superga 2790 platform sneaker, standing at 4 centimeters, is made entirely of satin, including the upper, eyelets, insole, lining and laces. It is adorned with a bonded satin bow on the front and the details are all tone-on-tone. The vulcanized rubber sole boasts a Viktor&Rolf logo patch on the heel.
Meanwhile, the 2708 high-top platform silhouette, also 4 centimeters in height, showcases a satin construction with hand-sewn flowers made of satin and organza, embellished with Swarovski crystals. The oversized eyelets, insole, lining and laces are all in harmony with the sneaker’s design. The rubber sole features a Viktor&Rolf logo patch on the heel.
Priced at 300 EUR and 350 EUR respectively (approximately $335 USD and $390 USD), the Superga and Viktor&Rolf limited edition collection is available exclusively through Viktor&Rolf’s website.
