Marni Delivers All the Warm and Fuzzy Feels With Mohair Sunglasses

Fur is not just for coats.

While Marni is most known for its uber-saturated striped mohair sweaters, the Italian brand is borrowing its the beloved fabric to reimagine our eyewear.

Revealing its new Maverick sunglasses, the curved, subtle wrap-around acetate frames are covered in green furry leather made from bovine hair, contrasting the enigmatic black lenses. Marni’s logo rests on the temples. The soft and fuzzy sunnies are housed in a colorful Marni box and is crafted from 50 percent recycled paper and 100 percent recycled cardboard.

Available for £570 GBP (about $733 USD), the sunglasses are available now online at Marni. Take a peek in the gallery above.
