Jimmy Choo Celebrates 30 Years With a Pearl-Inspired Capsule
Exploring the motif across bags, shoes and jewelry.
Jimmy Choo is celebrating its 30th anniversary by looking to one of its most enduring house codes: the pearl. Titled “Pearls of Wisdom,” the new capsule from creative director Sandra Choi explores the motif across a lineup of shoes, bags and jewelry, marking three decades since the house was founded in 1996.
Described by Choi as carrying a “quiet, enduring power,” the pearl takes on a number of forms throughout the collection. The Ithaca wedge is finished with three resin pearls beneath its sculpted gold heel, while the Irina sandal sees clusters of pearls and crystals draped across the foot. Elsewhere, the Ingrid flat transforms a classic Oxford with a trompe l’oeil pearl buckle.
The baroque influence continues across the Ines family, available as a pump, mule and flat with oversized corsage detailing. Bags get the pearl treatment too, with cascading strands adorning the Tube Mini Bag and Raindrops minaudière, while the Cloud clutch takes inspiration from oyster shells and golden waves.
Alongside the collection, campaign imagery moves between color and black and white, spotlighting the intricate details of each piece. With the pearl positioned as a symbol of longevity, resilience and refinement, “Pearls of Wisdom” looks to the next 30 years while celebrating everything that came before.
