Nike Basketball Unveils a New Kobe Bryant Sneaker

On SNKRS “Live From the Archive” on August 10.

To commemorate Kobe Day 2023, Nike CEO John Donahoe confirmed the relaunch of Kobe Bryant‘s signature line earlier this summer during a Q4 earnings call.

Joining the reintroduction of the basketball legend’s range, a brand-new sneaker will also be released via SNKRS “Live from the Archive” in North America only on August 10. The brand teased the shoe’s design in a black-and-white video clip on Instagram, suspending the kicks above a basketball. Given the colorless preview, not much detail could be seen, but its low profile and silhouette bear similarities to the Kobe 8. A clock rests below reflecting numbers counting down to “08:23:23” — the day before the relaunch of Bryant’s brand — with the official Nike Kobe logo underneath.
