The Marc Jacobs Tote Bag Gets a Denim Tears Makeover

Continuing the brand’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

Marc Jacobs is keeping the 40th-anniversary celebrations going, announcing a multitude of creative collaborations to commemorate the landmark. Following on from team-ups with Futura, NIGO and Anna Sui, the label is turning to Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears for its next release.

Taking over the classic Tote Bag, the Denim Tears iteration arrives crafted from supple calfskin leather, reimagined in a black and white colorway. Instead of MJ’s signature “The Tote Bag” lettering, the bag features the phrase “The Tears Bag” in its place, written in the same classic font, with “Marc Jacobs” branding underneath.

Completing the design are several cotton wreath prints, a Denim Tears signature for those in the know, covering the classic tote silhouette. Finishing the collaborative release is the tote’s signature shoulder strap, internal pocket and zip closure.

Take a look at the Denim Tears collaboration above and head to the Marc Jacobs website to purchase.
