Community run clubs are single-handedly changing the way individuals approach exercise. One of the biggest contributors to the rise of running, they have been making strides through their socially driven way of working out. As part of Under Armour’s Infinite Elite campaign series, Hypebae captures how inner-city collectives power through new challenges as a group. Their runs are headed by Infinite City Circuit runners – Rubi Deschamps, Hermen Dange, and Yaz Johnson – who showcase the joy of community running along the way.

In Liverpool, Deschamps opens the final chapter by taking her brother and best friends out onto her Infinite City Circuit. Though not an official run club, her loved ones are regularly called upon when she needs a light-hearted workout, taking away from the intensity of the run. The runners head out on the winding route in the Infinite Elite shoes, starting in their childhood neighborhood and ending at Mossley Hill where the energy is still high as they backflip and handstand on the grass.

From close-knit circles to large collectives, Dange shares a first-hand look at his early morning session with his run club Made Running. Since the runner switched up his lifestyle to be more active, the run club has become Dange’s second family, supporting him in achieving his goals. As seen in his clip, the group has only grown in size, welcoming close to 200 members in the Manchester. Together, they embark on the uphill steps and city roads, supported by Under Armour’s Infinite Elite and the most confident runners of the club.

Meanwhile, in London, Johnson joins her regular running companions to embark on her challenging stretch featured in the first installment. Having met through the run club Your Friendly Runners, the group now links up for additional training where they aim to push their personal bests in the run-up to half marathons. While running can be tough, it’s the enduring Infinite Elite that keeps them going as well as the “sibling-like bond” that they have nurtured over the years.

You can now put your performance to the test and take on the Infinite City Circuits in Liverpool, Manchester, and London by downloading the routes on Under Armour’s Map My Run.
