"Be a CoverGirl" in the Brand’s First-Ever Contest

Enter to become the “easy, breezy, beautiful” face of the iconic beauty brand.

OG beauty brand CoverGirl is officially opening submissions to fans, beauty lovers and influencers alike to compete to win the company’s iconic title. The “BeACoverGirl” contest hopes to “help budding creators launch their careers where three grand prize winners will become the newest creator faces for the brand,” according to a statement.

The beauty titan wants to use this contest as a way to “harness the power of social media to discover the unique talents and voices out there and invite them to become an active part of the CoverGirl community,” says Stefano Curti, Chief Brands Officer of Coty Consumer Beauty. Communities like #BeautyTok on TikTok are full of creators that share beauty tips, tricks and learnings from their cultural, economic and social vantage points. CoverGirl aims to tap into the diverse views of these creators to continue on the company’s mission of “evolving what it means to be beautiful.”

Within the content rules, the company makes it clear that “you don’t have to be flawless, feminine or famous to be a CoverGirl.” To enter, beauty lovers should complete a registration form and upload a 30 to 60 second video or TikTok link sharing why they should be chosen as a CoverGirl. The winners will not only become the face of CoverGirl’s creator community but will also learn the inner workings of the beauty industry from the brand’s team of professionals. Winners will also receive support in growing their social platforms.

To kick off the campaign, CoverGirl has partnered with 10 “mid-tier creators” and 3 “mega creators” to create content in hopes of inspiring fans to participate in the contest. The link to submit applications can be found on the brand’s website.
