Glossier Wants You to Drench Yourself in Its New and Improved Body Hero Collection
Reformulated to create a “spa-like experience in and out of the shower.”
Glossier is bringing back its cult-classic Body Hero Perfecting Lotion and Body Hero Daily Oil Wash with new formulas and packaging. The duo first launched in 2017 as the G’s debut into the body care category. Per the brand, these products are “designed to deliver high-level skincare formulations for a full-body routine and a spa-like experience in and out of the shower.”
The range invites fans of the brand to a fruit-inspired escape, with orange blossom neroli being the signature scent of the Body Hero Collection. The scent is a sweet and nourishing blend of neroli, pear, citrus and cypress. Made to “help you achieve the smoothest, silkiest skin possible,” the full collection includes the Daily Oil Wash, Dry-Touch Oil Mist, Exfoliating Bar and Daily Perfecting Lotion.
The oil wash is described by the company as a soap-free cleanser with “a luxe formula inspired by face wash for your body.” It’s packed with vitamin E and glycerin to hydrate, soften and balance the skin. While the lotion’s formula boasts a zero-residue, zero-stickiness, ultra-rich formula to keep dry skin at bay. The Dry-Touch Oil Mist works to instantly moisturize, smooth and add a non-oily glow from the neck down. As for the exfoliating bar, it’s designed to fit perfectly into the palm, so the days of soap bars flying around the shower floor are over. It also aims to strip away dead skin and dryness to reveal “baby-smooth skin.”
The brand also carries a hand cream, deodorant and milk jelly cleaning bar as part of its body products. The Body Hero Collection is available on the brand’s website for $90 USD.
