Haus Labs Unveils Its First-Ever Merch

The Jane Forth T-shirt has arrived.

Cult beauty brand Haus Labs, founded by Lady Gaga, has just entered the merch world. For its first limited-edition drop, Haus Labs is releasing the Jane Forth T-shirt as an ode to the 1970s actress and makeup artist. The shirt serves as the first addition of the brand’s forthcoming merch collection which hopes to “celebrate inspiring and unusual beauty icons throughout history.” 

When it came to the decision to release apparel, Haus Labs’ chief brand officer Katharina Korbjuhn says that the brand’s ethos of unapologetic artistry and self-expression is what fueled the desire to enter this new realm. We knew we wanted to approach merch differently. Being bold by adding an image of an unusual beauty icon is the energy we want to bring to the industry,” she says.

For its first-ever tee, Haus Labs tapped Jane Forth, citing her innovative approach to beauty and distinct signature look. The model began as Andy Warhol‘s muse and later went on to become an avant-garde makeup artist specializing in minimal, sculptural glamour. “[Jane Forth] challenged beauty standards which made her the perfect face to lead this launch — and to a younger audience that may not know Jane, her image might open doors to new ways of seeing,” Korbjuhn says. 

The limited-edition Jane Forth shirt along with the PhD Hybrid Lip Glaze in “Guava” retails for $45 USD and will be available for purchase on the brand’s website starting December 4.
