Diesel Drops "Year of the Snake" Collection
Joining in on the Lunar New Year celebrations with a 12-piece capsule collection.
Diesel is joining in on the Lunar New Year celebrations with its own “Year of the Snake” collection: a 12-piece, unisex capsule brought to life by creative director Glenn Martens. Tapping into the holiday’s origins of good fortune and happiness through Diesel’s non-conforming and empowering lens, the collection spans classic Diesel denim, ready-to-wear, bags and accessories.
A series of distinctive snake motifs underpin the collection, with pieces split into four of Diesel’s core aesthetics: “Utility,” “Pop,” “Artisanal” and of course, “Denim.” Reinterpreting the snake through a range of treatments, patchwork and prints, the collection includes visuals of retro Year of the Snake posters, photo-real snake prints and scale-inspired laser treatments.
Oversized tees feature multiple snake motifs. Stonewash Denim Jackets and jeans boast all-over snake print laser, and hyperreal snake prints applied to the brand’s classic Play bag and belt.
