In the midst of Paris Fashion Week, Wrangler teamed up with Hypebae to celebrate the launch of its new season collection over an intimate dinner with friends.

Bringing a slice of the wild west to the French capital, the playfully named Bae-Bae-Q drew inspiration from the latest denim line, with low-rise Cowboy Jeans and Heritage Western denim jackets extending into a ranch-style feast. To help curate the dinner, Hypebae enlisted Parisian foodie duo Sonia Madhkour and Raissa Tchoulagué from La Table Verte. Taking cues from their menu, a bottle of hot sauce was stamped with all the important details and sent to guests as a spicy taster of what’s to come.

On the evening of the event, ALYY, Lily Nguyen, and other local tastemakers showed up at the east Paris location in the Western Uniform range, styled with their best leather boots and cowboy-inspired accessories. In true Wrangler style, the venue’s rooftop terrace welcomed them in with cascading denim interiors – from deep indigo table cloths to jean jackets draped on the back of chairs.

As the smell of barbecue brisket filled the air, guests soon found their place at the driftwood-lined table, making sure to grab a smoked lemonade on the way. In between a speech by Hypebae’s editorial director as well as conversations of their favorite denim style icons, attendees enjoyed plates of corn ribs, tacos, wood-grilled meats, and smash burgers, all served up on sleek silver tableware.

After the final course of grilled peaches and blueberry crumble tart, DJ Chulanza took to the decks with a stand-out set. Some guests ended the night by taking in the views from the balcony, while others got their Heritage Jackets embroidered with motifs and name tags, making for the perfect take-home gift.
