Gucci Altitude Is the Brand's First Sports Collection

Gucci just made its foray into the world of sportswear with the launch of its new “Gucci Altitude” collection. Tapping up Italian tennis player and brand ambassador Jannik Sinner to star in its campaign, the new release features a slew of winter sportswear silhouettes blending high altitude with high fashion.
Exploring the “space between sky and mountain,” the new visuals see Sinner captured across the white-capped mountain peaks, showcasing the sheer focus and discipline that’s associated with today’s athletes and champions. Before his rise to the top of the tennis world, Sinner actually held the title of a junior ski champion, which this campaign aims to celebrate.
“This was such a special and unique shoot in the middle of the mountains. I’ve always loved the mountains, and this shoot took place in the most incredible setting. Gucci always comes up with amazing ideas, but this one felt truly magical and was an experience I’ll never forget,” Sinner stated in a press release.
The collection itself features a blend of technical pieces and fashion-forward designs, like ski masks, sport-inspired eyewear and wraparound sunglasses, along with water-resistant jackets that have ski-pass pockets.
Along with its ready-to-wear and accessory offering, the collection also includes a range of technical items like skis, snowboards and helmets, created in partnership with HEAD.
